I love simple things, my love for simple things comes from the fact that I believe in using the least amount of energy/resources to come up with the most you can get from it. (hmm.. put simply, i am lazy hehe). Simple things are amazing – they are so simple yet so effective in conveying messages (with simple words), showing emotions (with simple colours), expressing feelings (with simple pictures), expressing love (with simple gestures).
The chicken soup noodle we had in Hanoi was simply made with chicken soup, rice noodle and few pieces of chicken. Three scoops of ingredients were poured into the bowl when you pay and off you go with the most wonderful bowl of chicken soup noodle. Though simple it was one of the few meals we remembered and went back to for more!
So I thought I would try putting together a simple but not boring layout to go with the theme of this wonderful soup noodle. When I first started scrapbooking, I would spend ages and ages trying to come up with a layout because I would try to fit as many things into the layout as possible and often over-complicating things. It just didn’t work when I was trying to do something complicated. I gave up and went back to what I was better at doing, making simple things. I was really happy with this layout because of how simple it was to make and how the colours has turned out!
Cool idea! I like the results 🙂
